Gracie's Guys and Gals Showtroupe took 12 routines to Starpower National Talent Competition, and ten were in the top high scores of the day!

Starpower adjudicates routines with a rating of one to five stars, with five being the highest score you can receive.

Carly Colvin received 4 ¼ stars for her tap solo "On and On."

"Fascinating Rhythm" -- a tap routine -- was the 5th over all high score for all duo/trios for ages 15 and over with a rating of 4 ¼ stars. (Nick Colvin and David Burrows)

"Tap Times Three" -- a tap routine -- was 6th over all high score for all duos/trios for ages 15 and over with a rating of 4 ¼ stars. (Carly Colvin, Kortney Redding, Taylor Frick)

"Let’s Go Crazy" -- in the open category since it was tap and hip hop combined, was 5th over all high score in the large group category for ages 15 and over with a rating of 4 ½ stars.

"Pump up the Party" -- a tap routine -- was 2nd over all high score in the large group category, only missing first place by .1 of a point! This routine received 4 ¾ star rating, and a judges award for ‘high energy’.

"Let the Beat Rock" -- a hip hop routine -- received second place in their category and was 4th place over all high score in the line division for ages 12-14, with a rating of 4 ½ stars.

"Disco Dance Fever," in the open category since it had tap, jazz, and hip hop incorporated, was not only the top scoring line production for ages 12-14, but was first place in their category and received a rating of 4 ¾ stars. "Disco Dance Fever" also received the Entertainment Award!

"The Way I Are" -- a duo tap routine with Bailee Wathen and Brittany Lyon, in the age category 11, received 5th over all top score, and a rating of 4 ¼ stars.

"Fine" -- a small group tap routine in age division 15, received a 5 star rating, was first in their category, and was the top scoring small group.

"Bust a Move" -- a large group tap routine, in the age division 10, received 4 ½ stars and was the seventh over all top score !

"There You There" -- a large group tap routine, in the age division 11, received 4 ¾ stars and was the second top scoring group!

Amanda Ripple received 4 ½ stars and was first in her category for her tap solo "Blackbird".

Gracie's Guys and Gals Dance Studio received the top award for best and highest scoring TAP routines, in both age categories; 11 and under with "Take You There", and 12 and over with "Fine"!
