HOLIDAYS

The studio does NOT close on federal holidays, we will be open on Veterans Day, November 11th. The studio does not close on Monday holidays or when schools are closed for in-service days. Read the policies and guidelines online for specific days the studio closes.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

We follow the St. Mary’s County policy for when the studio should close for bad weather; if the schools close early, or close for the entire day, due to inclement weather, we will cancel classes, if school starts two hours late in the morning, we will still hold classes. If after school activities are canceled due to bad weather, we will cancel evening classes as well.

Thanksgiving: The studio will be closed the entire week of November 22nd.

Christmas break: December 20-January 2nd.

TUITION

is due by the 7th of each month. A late fee of $15 is imposed on all payments received after 8 p.m. on the 7th of each month. Please try to be on time. Put the checks in the outside GREEN MAILBOX, it has GRACIE and 44150 on the side of the mailbox. Do not give checks to your teacher. Thank you.

SANTA’S ARRIVAL AND LIGHTING OF CHRISTMAS TREE IN LEONARDTOWN

November 26th at 6:20, the show troupe will be performing at the Leonardtown Square as entertainment prior to Santa’s arrival to light the town’s Christmas tree. Try to attend!

COSTUME ORDERING FOR RECITAL (for your planning)

The week of December 6th we will be measuring your child and sharing the costume selections for the recital. You will pay for the costume, but the checks (made payable to Gracie’s) will be held until January 1st at which time they will be deposited. The costumes range anywhere from $50-$90. The parent must make the final decision on what size costume to order. If the costume needs to be exchanged, the cost is $40 that the parent must pay. It is best if not sure, to go up one size.

If your child dances in studio A, due to Covid restrictions only ONE PARENT (no other kids please) will come into the main lobby the last 30 minutes of class, to measure your child, and decide on the costume size.

If your child dances in studio B, due to Covid restrictions, only ONE PARENT (no other kids please) will come into the studio B (since it’s a large studio room) the last 30 minutes of class, to measure your child, and decide on the costume size.

If your child dances in studio D, due to Covid restrictions, only ONE PARENT (no other kids please) will come into that studio room and can use the lobby area outside of that room as well, to measure your child, and decide on the costume size.

PLEASE NOTE: EVERYONE INSIDE THE BUILDING MUST WEAR A MASK.

IF YOU CAN’T COME IN THE WEEK OF DEC. 6TH, THEN YOU MUST COME INTO THE LOBBY THE WEEK OF DEC. 13th during your child’s dance class to order and pay for the costume. A costume will NOT be ordered if you do not measure and pay for your child’s costume. ALL TUITION MUST BE UP TO DATE BEFORE A COSTUME CAN BE ORDERED.
