Newsletter for December 2022 

Reminder: Christmas Break is the same as the St. Mary’s County school system: December 19 - January 1st studio is closed. Classes resume on January 2nd.

Tuition is due by the 7th of each month. If it's easier, you can have your bank issue a check each month that will be mailed automatically. Inside tuition box under the counter, or outside the green mailbox has 44150 on side. Late fee of $20 is imposed on all tuition payments paid after the 7th of each month.

Tuition must be up to date in order for you to order your child's costume, which is the week of December 12th, the last 30 minutes the parents will come into the classroom. Hopefully the parents can measure their child, with the form being emailed, and may only need some assistance to determine the size to order their child. The chart sizes are a guide, and it is best to go up a size if in doubt. There is a $35 return charge if the costume needs to be exchanged that the parent must pay. Costumes usually start arriving mid-March.

RECITAL dates: June 16 and 17th, we have a total of three shows (plus a showcase for solos and duos) and if your child is ONLY taking ONE class per week, she/he will only be in one show. However, if your child takes several classes, he/she could be in multiple shows, same with siblings, they could be in more than one show. The FAMILY recital fee is $110, and this entitles each FAMILY to four tickets to each show their child is in, plus you will get links to all the recitals! The recital fee is due by March 7th, and can be included with the tuition check, or you can pay for the recital fee separately.

In January the teachers start pushing ahead with choreography for the recital routines, so please try to have your child in class.

WEATHER policy: If it snows, and there is no school for St. Mary’s county, we cancel classes also. If school starts late, we will have classes. If schools, or after school activities are canceled due to snow, we cancel evening classes.
